About Me
Pianist, Vocalist & Educator
Passionate Musician from a Young Age
Kaitlin’s love for music began early in her life, when she began her studies in classical piano at the age of 5. Her passion for music over the years led to her studies at the University of Idaho, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Music, with a focus in Keyboard Studies and Music History.
During her years of undergraduate study, she studied piano and piano pedagogy in the studios of Dr. Kay Zavislak and Dr. Rajung Yang, along with private voice and organ lessons. She also received the opportunity to become involved with several of the university’s vocal ensembles, including the select chamber choir, and was the recipient of a scholarship that enabled her to pursue classical vocal training along with her studies in piano and organ.
Diverse Performance Experience
Her involvement in many musical projects ranging from classical choral ensembles to rock bands lends to her versatility and energy as a teacher and performer, and has shaped her musical philosophy. Ms. Wick is currently a member of the Northwest Chamber Chorus, one of Seattle’s premiere chamber choral ensembles, and is also a vocalist with Side One, a fine entertainment company based out of Vancouver BC.

Kaitlin has been teaching classical piano for over 15 years, and currently maintains private piano studios both in Edmonds and Bothell, WA. She teaches Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle School Music at Whole Earth Montessori, and offers private preschool music classes as well.
